Colonic Hydrotherapy, Reflexology and reiki are offered at Harmony Health Clinic by Mary Berry who is an experienced Qualified Therapist and a Registered Nurse. Mary is also a Chemotherapy Nurse who works on a Haematology ward.
Mary feels it it very important to have a medical background when giving Colonic treatments. Her nursing knowledge and experience of working in a hospital and community setting is a great advantage. It is the difference between reading problems from a text book or first hand experience. For example being able to know what medications a person is taking, what they are for and how they may be effecting their problem. checking blood pressures where necessary and having experience of working on an endoscopy unit, seeing colonoscopies and other procedures, first hand. Each person seen is treated as an idividual, where the time spent is not the issue more the actual result or outcome that the client is seeking. Therefore somtimes a treatment may take a little longer if necessary, rather than rushing the client to acheive an outcome.
